Old mates
Just caught up with my old mate Ben Cox. It’s good to see him regularly now after being absent in each other’s lives for so long. We used to bump heads a lot when we were younger but now we are like two old friends talking about life and the state of the world. Quality friendships are timeless.

The Outsiders
My friend Sid Tapia is just about to launch his own skate label Outsider Skateboards. Sid was a major influence on street skating in Australia in the 90′s and still continues to stoke people on skateboarding. He has a lot of pop and style for miles.

So the rumor is finally confirmed, Eric Koston is on Nike SB. Good on him, he is the Michael Jordan of skateboarding and deserves all the loot he gets for this. A lot of people are hating on him for this power move but you’re just a bunch of haters. Eric has been in it for the long haul and this is not a sell out. Expect some crazy Koston/swoosh issues soon.

Some thought provoking statistics. I think the world is always changing but you just get used to some ideas that you were given growing up in the time you did.
Brooklyn Bank Saviour.
Steve Rodriguez saved the Brooklyn Banks from demolition. Steve also is the founder of New York’s 5Boro Skateboards. Time Out magazine just ran a story on Steve and what he has acheived to date. Mad respect Steve.
